Latch Hook Kit

Latch hook kit help please?

I got a puppy latch hook kit. I can latch hook fine but when I follow the color codes it doesn't seem to fit the graph in the instruction booklet. It says to start at the bottom left but the graph says bottom right. Suggestions? I want to do it right. Some lines have more than one color.

1. Maybe the picture is reversed from the graph? If you can tell that it is reversed, just work the graph backwards. Otherwise, pick one and ignore the other. Also, sometimes the printing on the canvas does not match the colors of yarn or the graph because the paints would be too close in color and you could not tell which one to use. You need to figure out if they used different colors of paint that don't match the yarn, and if so which ones correspond. Then you should be able to figure out the pattern more easily.
