Question about latch hook kits?
I have never used an unstamped canvas (that come with the colour chart on a separate paper). Is it difficult? More so than a stamped canvas kit?

- i have used the canvases with the color chart , but not without, and i would imagine that it would be hard unless you know what u wan to make...
- Not at all difficult if you have a pattern.
- You just have to pay attention to where you are at on the chart and on the object. It's the same as counted cross-stitch basically. I've never done stamped, have always done unstamped.
- Yes... it is more difficult. But there is a way around that. Take the whole thing to staples or some office supply with the fancy copy machine and them blow up your color chart to fit. Place your canvas on top and use a magic marker to outline the design onto the canvas. Don't worry about coloring it in. Just make sure your lines are clear. These people were trying to save some money by eliminating this step. But the point of buying a kit is to have it all laid out for you isn't it? I am sure you will remember this next time and will always ask about whether the canvas is stamped or unstamped. I have not latch hooked a rug in many years but I used to really like it.
